MEDITECH Implementation Consultant to join our
MEDITECH Solutions Group.
*Candidates may live anywhere in the contiguous US or CANADA and travel 75-100%, as needed by project. Responsibilities:
:
Provide expert guidance for the analysis design and implementation of the MEDITECH applications. A preference is given toward individuals with Advanced Clinical expertise. However, all skill sets will be considered
Review customer requirements, perform analysis, design and documentation of current state and future state workflows
Provide expert guidance and assistance in the design and development of system parameters and dictionaries
Develop test plans and coordinate testing
Maintain regular communications regarding project issues, risks, and needs with client, vendor, team leadership and team members
Classify problems as system, training, or process and recommend appropriate corrections
Teach end-users new MEDITECH related technology and enhancements
Identify and implement solutions in cooperation with other team members, MEDITECH, Inc., end-users and customers
Participate in new module implementation and upgrades
Demonstrate customer service skills regarding responsiveness to customer requests for support assistance, whether troubleshooting, problem solving, report development, or system enhancements and correction testing
Guide end-users through complex application functionality
Required Skills:
Solid implementation experience and knowledge of the MEDITECH application is required (expert level)
A minimum of 3 years MEDITECH applications experience, including implementation, module coordination, and upgrades for large healthcare enterprises
Experience with, and understanding of financial, administrative and clinical dictionaries/applications and how they impact other modules
Experienced developing technical documentation and estimation of resource requirements for tasks and small projects
Hospital clinical operations experience
Experience with working with MEDITECH, Inc. to resolve issues
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Exceptional client relationship skills
Ability to travel approximately 75-100%
Desired Skills:
Experience providing module coordination for MEDITECH upgrades
Project management experience
Process redesign experience
