Perot Systems Corporation is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. We are currently looking for a Healthcare Consultant to join our team. This is a virtual position. Candidates must be available for weekly travel.

Responsibilities:

:
The individual assuming this role will have responsibility for managing governance and decision making across a broad spectrum of constituent interests, aligning I.S. departmental activities with hospitals. Candidates must be able to leverage knowledge of clinical workflow to guide process changes needed to realize benefits of major investment in new suite of software supporting core clinical care.

Required Skills:

Cerner CPOE experience

Cerner Medication Adminstration experience

E-MAR and bar coding experience

Acute care experience

Thorough understanding of clinical care delivery

Ability to translate user needs into technical specifications

Experience with Healthcare IT systems

Thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Office product Suite

Desired Skills:

Successfully participated in one or more clinical transformation projects in an academic medical research facility or large provider organization, delivering software to enable new functional capabilities

Ability to articulate the benefits and constraints of working with commercial software

VP Operational experience

Minimum Educational Requirements:

BS required

Masters referred

Minimum Certifications or Other Professional Credentials:

RN or RPH

*This position requires weekly travel to customer sites.
