Implement curriculum and educational program for students in Cosmetology program.  Communicate class content to students so that learning occurs, skills are developed, and students are motivated to learn and achieve their educational objectives.  Prepares and grades exams.  Maintains attendance and grade records.  Provides student support and retention assistance.

One to three years working in Cosmetology field.  Teaching experience preferred.

Strong oral communication and interpersonal skills, ability to develop lesson plans and implement curriculum, teaching and facilitation skills, knowledge of teaching methodologies, ability to work with diverse populations, classroom management skills, ability to compile information and prepare reports.

Bachelor's degree preferred.  Must have a current Tennessee Cosmetology Instructors license.
