General Summary:
This position is responsible for generating revenue from new and past customers through consultative selling and outstanding customer service practices. Assists customers with any problems that may occur during the order and delivery process. Establishes and builds positive relationships with company's clients.

Essential Job Functions:
1. Responds to the incoming customer calls and/or makes calls to past customers that are generated through Company catalogs, space ads, referrals, etc. Incoming caller have either ordered before- or have some knowledge or interest in the Company's offerings.
2. Make outbound calls to past and existing customers as needed to generate and promote value add and related products.
3. Uses consultative sales techniques to explore client needs and offer suggestions for enhancing client marketing efforts.
4. Utilizes effective sales techniques to handle objections and effectively close the sale.
5. Works proficiently with infoUSA's "Sales Order Entry system to explore industry/geographic information on behalf of customers - and accurately enter sales order information.
6. Maintains accurate and complete customer and prospective customer files in SalesForce.
Supportive Job Functions:
1. Handles customer questions and complaints in a timely, professional manner - by documenting all changes or cancellations and forwarding to both Sales Management and Sales Administration.
2. Abides by all Company and Divisional procedures and policies.
3. Works collaboratively with Sales Administration to ensure that all orders are accurately submitted in a timely manner.
4. Exhibits a positive attitude and professional demeanor at all times.
5. Demonstrate maturity, integrity and character in relationships with all infoUSA colleagues, customers and prospective customers.
6. Attends sales meetings, training sessions, and product introductions.
7. Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management.*

Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities:
1. Knowledge of sales and marketing practices and procedures.
2. Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
3. Ability to build productive business relationships with clients and meet goals.
4. Knowledge of direct marketing practices and products.
5. Basic understanding of Marketing preferred.
6. Closing ability required; previous sales experience preferred
7. Must be able to type at least 30 words per minute and effectively operate a 10 - key calculator - (add, subtract, multiply, divide, etc.)
8. Must be able to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
Education and Experience:
1. College degree in Business, Marketing or related area preferred. Commensurate work experience considered.
2. At least two years prior experience working with personal computers preferred. Experience with Microsoft Windows, Excel, Access, Win fax, order management environments, etc., preferred.
