REQUIREMENTS:
·         Associate’s degree preferred.
·         Up to two years of related experience preferred.
·         MS Office, Windows, Solaris, UNIX. 
·         Troubleshooting and repairing SUN and PC servers
·         Knowledgeable of computer hardware/software and peripherals to include installation of hardware components and software.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Coordinates the operation and maintenance effort for USSTRATCOM computers and peripherals installed and planned for future installation. 
·         Assess and schedules resources for total life-cycle support of systems, assessing installation plans, supporting and validating installation, testing and acceptance, modification and upgrade, overall administration and support, and decommission, while maintaining accountability for assigned system assets. 
·         Responsible for the allocation of assets, ensuring that performance meets technical, cost, quality, and schedule requirements in support of system operation. 
·         Also involved in sparing, provisioning, diagnoses, repair, adjust, install (assemble, setup, configuration, test) upgrade and de-install. Performs collect/analyze/report metrics. 
·         Tracks and executes hardware life-cycle replacement plan. 
·         Engineering services support – determines hardware compatibility and influences hardware design and/or configuration.
 
SECURITY REQUIREMENTS:
* This position requires an active DOD TOP SECRET clearance, eligible for special accesses *
