Primary Responsibilities
- Perform detailed discovery of business processes and needs with clients.
- Create documents that clearly articulate findings, requirements, proposed solutions, and scope of work.
- Work with developers and agile team members to build, test and implement software solutions.
- Execute a consultative sales approach in partnership with the sales team and account managers, to identify prospective service clients, interview, validate, and close consulting business.
- Manage projects for on-time and on-budget delivery.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in business analysis and project management in a software or technology environment
- 2+ years of consulting for external clients
- Able and willing to travel 70% of the time
- Strong analytical and product management skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements
- Proficient with a range of Microsoft products including Office, SQL, Project, Visio, etc.
- A passion for problem solving and for learning new things on a daily basis
- Superior verbal, writing and presentation skills, along with a track record and demonstrated capacity to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, MBA preferred
